A Temporary Respite for Free Speech in Britain

A recent legal victory for a man prosecuted over burning a Koran in Britain represents a rare win for free expression in a country with increasingly restrictive speech laws. While the case offers a temporary reprieve, broader legal and political trends in the U.K. still threaten robust protections for free speech.

The UNC Alumni Free Speech Alliance, Inc. is a North Carolina Corporation that has been granted designation as a nonprofit, 501(c)(3).
